Rev. Jimmy Seong G. Lim
Executive Director
The Reverend Jimmy Seong G. Lim has served the Council of Churches of the City of New York since 1999. Under his leadership, the Council has created numerous new vital programs and ministries serving the ministers and the churches of the City of New York. He received his B.A. in philosophy from Nyack College in Nyack, New York in 1998 and his M. Div. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing Doctor of Ministry degree at New York Theological Seminary where he also teaches masters degree courses as an adjunct faculty. Rev. Lim is an ordained minister of the Word and Sacrament in The Reformed Church in America. Rev. Lim served as the 2005 Greater New York Billy Graham Crusade Language Committee Chairperson providing imperative leadership to mobilize the City of New York where more than 100 foreign languages are spoken. He serves as an invaluable resource to churches in New York providing seminars and consultations on church growth, management & operation, conflict resolution and other important issues. He is a dynamic preacher and has successfully led many renowned revivals through out the City of New York.

Rev. Dr. Willard W. C. Ashley, Sr.
Director of Pastoral Care Department

The Council of Churches of the City of New York coordinates the Care for the Caregivers Project. The project was created by the 9/11 Fund as a response to the grave need to assist the caregivers in helping the victims and people wounded by the tragedy. The project is now sustained by the generous funding from the American Red Cross to provide second phase of the project.. Dr. Ashley provides extraordinary leadership to coordinate the project to be most effective. He holds a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andover Newton Theological School, Newton Centre, Massachusetts. Dr. Ashley has earned certificates from Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute in Marriage and Family Therapy and in Pastoral Psychotherapy. He has experience teaching at the graduate school level and in counseling individuals, families and couples. Ashley also has experience as an Executive Coach on Wall Street, working with senior level management. He is a member of the American Group Psychotherapists Association, American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Ms. Dee Evelyn Matthews
Department of Pastoral Care Administrative Assistant
Dee Evelyn Matthews, Project Administrative Assistant, holds an Associate Degree from NYC Community College of Applied Arts and Sciences. In June 2001, she retired after 23 years as an Officer of Columbia University with the title of Program Coordinator for the Psychiatric Residency Training Program in the Department of Psychiatry, New York State Psychiatric Institute. Ms. Matthews, having served as the elected Moderator of the Presbytery of New York City (2001-02) and Chair of General Council, was recently elected Moderator of the Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of New York City. Elected and appointed to various Presbytery committees, councils, commissions, she is also a past national president of the Continental Societies, Inc., a women's organization, and has served as a member of the national Executive Committee of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc.

Ms. Marianne Fazio

Ms. Fazio provides crucial service of administrative assistance for daily operation of the the historic Christ for the World Chapel at the John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal Four.
