Rev. Dr. Jimmy Seong G. Lim
Executive Director

The Reverend Dr. Jimmy Seong G. Lim has served the Council of Churches of the City of New York since 1999 and was installed as the Executive Director in 2007. Under his leadership, the Council has created numerous new vital programs and ministries serving the ministers and the churches of the City of New York. He received his B.A., major in philosophy and minor in Bible, from Nyack College and his Master of Divinity degree from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from New York Theological Seminary. Rev. Lim is an ordained minister of the Word and Sacrament in The Reformed Church in America. Rev. Lim served as the 2005 Greater New York Billy Graham Crusade Language Committee Chairperson providing imperative leadership to mobilize the City of New York where more than 100 foreign languages are spoken. He serves as an invaluable resource to churches in New York providing seminars and consultations on church growth, management & operation, conflict resolution and other important issues.

 

 

 

Rev. N. J. "Skip" L'Heureux, Jr.
Director of Operations


The Reverend N.J. "Skip" L'Heureux, Jr. has been Executive Director of the Queens Federation of Churches since 1978. He is president of the Queens Interfaith Hunger Network and a past chair of the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing. He is an advocate for religious freedom in the United States and abroad . He served as the secretary of the Committee of Religious Leaders in the City of New York and continues to chair the New York State Interfaith Commission on Landmarking of Religious Property. His national leadership includes 13 years of service as Registrar of the National Association of Ecumenical and Interreligious Staff. He is currently moderator of the Committee on Religious Liberty of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA and a member of its Justice and Advocacy Commission.

 


Mr. Peter Euisung Won
Director of Media Department

Mr. Peter Won joined the Council¡¯s staff in 2007 and became the Director of Media Department in 2009. He received his B.A. in Fine Art from School of Visual Arts in New York. Mr. Won oversees the media department and produces all multimedia programs including the Council¡¯s magazine, Leadership New York, with the biggest circulation in New York. Mr. Won also provides consultations to churches, pastors and Christian organizations on all media related issues in order to most effectively communicate with their congregation members as well as their target audiences. He also continually studies demographic data and consumer profiles to identify the most productive target audiences. In spare time, he enjoys oil painting creating masterpieces such as his original 6¡¯ by 8¡¯ painting of ¡°Road to Emmaus Via New York¡± presented to Archbishop Timothy Dolan at the Council¡¯s Welcome Luncheon for His Excellency shortly after his appointment. Mr. Won is an invaluable part of the Council¡¯s daily operation.

 

Mrs. Hannah Kim
Executive Assistant

Mrs. Hannah Kim provides crucial administrative support for all staff members of the Council for most effective daily operations. Mrs. Kim received her B.A. in History from Montclair State University, New Jersey. She plans, directs and coordinates supportive services of the Council and also oversees the Council¡¯s facilities planning and maintenance.

 

 

 

 

Ms. Marianne Fazio
Secretary at JFK Chapel

Ms. Fazio provides essential service of administrative assistance for daily operation of the the historic Christ for the World Chapel at the John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal Four.
