The Clergy Network is a ministry of the Council of Churches of the City of New York. It provides leadership training, resources, and collaborative networking for the Clergy of the New York City metropolitan area.

Training and Seminars in Management, Pastoral Care, Legal Issues
The complex society in which we live requires that church leaders be skillful in the tasks of management, finances, legal and tax issues, and, of course, the pastoral care of their members. The Clergy Network, through seminars and other training events, will offer opportunity to hone these skills for success.
- Church Growth and Maturity
We know that which does not continue to grow, dies. The Clergy Network will provide opportunities to learn tested methods to grow your church’s ministry and to sustain that ministry by helping congregants mature in their faith.
- Photo Membership ID Card for Pastoral Care ministry
Members of the Clergy Network will receive a photo membership ID Card from the Council of Churches to facilitate your work in the various institutions where your pastoral ministry is exercised.
- Curriculum Resources for Church Life
Curriculum resources for Christian education and mission needs to begin where the people are in New York City, the most culturally and ethnically diverse place in all of God’s Creation. The Clergy Network will make resources available to help your members learn and relate to the local family of God which extends around the world.
- Access to Group Insurance Programs
The Council of Churches is developing group programs for property, liability, and health insurance to provide adequate and appropriate coverage at economical rates.
- Meetings with key Community Leaders
The Clergy Network will provide opportunities for Church leaders to develop productive relationships with key community and government leaders.
- The Power of Networking
Jesus prayed that we may all be one. The power of coming together to share knowledge and resources will enhance your ministry in your NYC neighborhood.
